My name is Thet Naing Tun. I am a Piping Material Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the oil & gas and LNG industry. My work is built upon international standards such as API 571, API 577, API 580, and NACE MR0175, with deep expertise in piping materials, corrosion mechanisms, metallurgy, and material selection for process facilities.
In addition to my engineering background, I am passionate about Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. I focus on transforming traditional engineering workflows into efficient, automated digital tools—such as datasheet generator, MR/TBE automation, material selection systems, and interactive piping data applications like this Pangram.
This website is part of my vision to build a comprehensive Piping Engineering Informatics Platform. The current version is a pilot project, fully developed by myself, and designed for future expansion into a complete engineering digital ecosystem.
My goal is to make complex engineering data more visual, interactive, accurate, and accessible for engineers around the world.
